This one caught my eye reading through the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for violating stay at home orders in my state.
“Committing criminal activity in the close confines of a compact sedan with people who do not reside together is not permitted per the executive order,” said the citations, which did not elaborate.
Sounds like the cop got an invitation to join in on top of enough other outrageous elements being in play that he threw the book at these two ladies. Clearly some fun was had writing up whatever the base offense further charges stemmed from.

What era are we using to define a compact sedan? Are we accounting for inflation?

Committing criminal activity is temporarily illegal under the stay home order, got it.

Hopefully something was inflated!

In all cases I’m expecting the answer to be an older model involved in a much older act.

So does the law apply to modern sub-compacts only?

This had to be egregious .

What are the odds she wanted to speak to manager no dispatcher

I’m just going to say I believe the law applies unilaterally to all vehicles not falling under commercial categorization.

I guess Cruze cruises are not in the cards? Or maybe as long as I don't invite the police to join me I can get away with it. Oh right, Georgia.

I need to know.
I need to know what failed society thinks a late-model 3 series is a compact car.

So previous stay at home order it was okay to commit a criminal activity?

So I’m exempt if I have a hatch back c oupe?
I could make a good drake meme from your post. Maybe later.

You are probably correct in thinking their reaction to an officer’s presence was the offense. Socializing alone wouldn’t have garnered more than a finger wag.
Inability to keep eyebrows from raising while speculating was half the fun in posting this.

I’d avoid pleasure Cruze’s and keep to short trips for vital functions.

Meanwhile, it’s now lawful (required!) to walk into a bank dressed like this....

Nice pun ;)
I don’t have much of a choice while I procrastinate about that dead battery. Georgia is basically “open,” so there are about two or three things I might reasonably do with very little risk. I might even want to go hiking somewhere different for a change.

Would you feel vindicated if they pocket dialed 911?
Probably should’ve avoided lifting an established reference in the title.

I won’t speculate on bank security systems or protocol. Probably safe to say there are precautions in place that get used when suspect characters enter.

Please do.

Very suspicious if someone goes to a bank in the first place. Who goes to a bank anymore???

Same color and wheels as the ‘72 I had much too briefly, beautiful!

Adversely, people who don’t know better than to get robbed by a bank.

You can’t walk into my bank anymore. Problem solved.
